Prince George’s County, MD - Career Academies are in-boundary, open enrollment, four-year high school programs of study that prepare students to be both college and career ready. Each Academy has a variety of “majors” from which students can choose in order to meet their interests and talents.

 

 

All 8th grade students will have the opportunity to complete an application for the Academies available at their boundary high school. The applications are online and will be completed with the students’ professional school counselor at their current middle school location.

 

 

Parents should review the available Academy options with their child(ren) prior to the application being completed. Email notification will be sent home to parents when the application is complete. We request parents update their contact information in the Parent Portal of SchoolMax to ensure delivery of the email.
